Well there is your only reliable reliever picking the worse time to have a bad game. Does not matter as this team is not here to win for your amusement.

Iggy comes in, is ineffective and game over pretty much. Should have won the series, but you know

At least Tyler Mahle, Castillo and Big Sal give us hope for a better 2018

    Wandy Peralta -- 3.41

Only ten of the 29 have an ERA under 5:

    Michael Lorenzen -- 4.28
    Drew Storen -- 4.44
    Scott Feldman -- 4.77
    Sal Romano -- 4.96

We lose 5-2 and the Bucs win the series. Reprieve from the misery tomorrow. NY on Tuesday.

Today's Joe Nuxhall Star of the Game is Pirates RF John Jaso, who was 1-for-2 with a two-run double and 2 BB's.

Why don't teams just intentionally walk Votto? If you aren't going to, why waste pitches out of the zone? He will not swing at them. Teams keep wasting pitches.

You know in the Brennaman statistics world walks don't count. Only RBI's and Sac Fly's count. Walks are for wimps.

Duvall lost that game today. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Price should drop him in the order a couple spots. He's struggling too much.
