LOL. Years of reading this website has turned me into quite the wordsmith. Half of my vocabulary has come from Redszone.

And my avatar is Dianna Agron. Google her sometime, she's immensely attractive.

The setup was there to ream him if Mahle gave up a run in the 6th. But you know what, he didn't and Mahle ended up with a heck of an outing. I prefer the 6 IP 105 pitches to the 5 IP 92 pitches myself.
Bryan's a regular Sparky Anderson. As a Red's fan, I feel like i've been getting piled on lately.

    Lol.

Billy gets caught off first but gets back because Diaz throws to second when Diaz was closer to first.

She is. I take it she's younger than Ginger and Mary Anne, so I probably haven't seen her in anything.

I'm kidding, I've heard of her, but didn't recognize her from that picture.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Still 1-0 as we head to the bottom of the 8th.

    Hey I hear you.

But let's be 100% real. If Mahle gave up a run, Price would be getting ripped. He didn't, so.....crickets on the decision.

Now some might say they prefer the 5 IP 92 pitches, but c'mon 6 IP for Mahle 105 pitches is a heck of an outing and will help him grow as a starter.

Mahle has gone over 100 pitches on numerous occasions in the minors including this season, I said nothing about sending him out for the 6th because I had no issue with it.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

It worked out, so that's to his credit.

But over the last few years I've seen numerous games where Bryan tries to squeeze an extra inning out of these young guys and it blows up in his face.

I'm usually going to err on the side of caution with young arms (especially considering The Reds have been the walking wounded as far as pitching goes for multiple seasons now), but Servo did make a good point about Mahle going over 100 pitches regularly in the minors (which I believe was NOT the case for someone like Castillo, and Price has pushed him hard several times). I don't follow the minors nearly as closely as some so I wouldn't have known that without having it pointed out to me.

Something not bueno with Peralta's hip now.
