Move Suarez back to SS. Problem solved!

That was a line drive homer.

Garrett gives up a HR to some jabroni. 1-0 Mets.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Garrett's fastball just looks so straight sometimes.

I guess, but that was just a horrible location. At least he's showing that the "soft-tosser" charges aren't founded.

    Tucker throws out another baserunner.

Someone explain to me again why Rocko should start over him.

I don't think anyone is arguing right now that Mesoraco with his broken foot should be starting over Barnhart.

True, but hitters can turn around a 94-95 fastball that doesn't move or is located poorly. If Garrett has to back off to 90 in order to get those other things, this is a major issue. He's a guy I want to see the Reds trade in the offseason as part of a package to get a more established pitcher. The shine can't be off him completely yet, can it?

Well, yeah. But when Mesoraco is healthy? Barnhart should still start most games IMO.

I've never been a huge Garrett guy but I think he's somewhere in between the All-Star we saw to start the year and the trainwreck we saw after that. I'm not opposed to trading him but I'm not looking to move him just because. At the very least I think he has a nice future in the bullpen.

I think he's been used just the right amount this year, they had to rely on him too much last year and he wilted.

Reyes HR. 2-0 Mets. Another poor location.

2001 Barry Larkin for Reyes and Ochoa? Yes, please!

Garrett strikes out three despite the HR that inning.

Reds leave em loaded as Scheb smokes one to the right side but it's gloved.
