Scoreless 4th for Garrett. He's looked pretty good despite the HRs (although this IS a glorified AAA lineup).
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Amir limping around, his leg is bothering him.

    I think it's his calf.

Garrett stays in and gets his 5th K, but he still looks a bit gimpy.

Welp, there goes the nice outing. Reyes homers again. 4-0 Mets, 3 HRs allowed by Garrett.

Peraza has spent the majority of the year batting lower on the lineup when he was playing 2b and now he is always batting 2nd because he plays SS. This is the person who will be managing this team next year because it looks like lo other pitching coaches are extinct. There are no other qualified pitching coaches. They have gone the way of the rotary phone I guess. No one else can possibly do that job. So next year we get Hamilton and Peraza hitting 1/2 and then have Marty and sonny boy wondering why Votto is not driving in more runs.

So the 2 LHP in this organization telegraph their pitches because why?

Price is honestly just Dusty if you took all away Dusty's good qualities. CFers and SSs hit 1-2, dude

Are we going to hear how Amir was pretty much hurt all year? Because if not what a dissapoinment this guy has been. Not hurt enough to go on DL but not quite right.

Garrett ends the 5th but damage done. Disappointing outing considering the opponent but it was better than what we were seeing in June before he got sent down.

I can't really fault him much, I'm not sure why the Reds threw him into the fire in the first place when he clearly had stuff still to work on in AAA.
