Is Luke Ferrell the human victory cigar?

Not sure he would have been my choice. Hope I'm wrong.

Between Brian "sexual assault arrest" Shackleford and Rusty Shackleford I have a knee jerk negative reaction to any other Shacklefords.

It was kinda a "run for the bus" after Suarez' home run. That's fine with me...

Tonight's Joe Nuxhall Star of the Game is Tyler Mahle, who pitched 5 innings allowing no runs on 4 hits with 4 K's to earn his first major-league win, and also was hit by a pitch and scored a run on Eugenio Suarez's grand slam after his hustle into second base overturned an out call to end the inning.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Tyler really battled tonight. To get a win while allowing no runs when you don't have your good command is quite the impressive feat for a rookie

I see him as the spiritual successor to Blake Wood.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
