Watched the season finale of The Righteous Gemstones. Another really solid season.
The last scene almost worked as a finale for the entire series.

Not sure if anyone is watching Season 2 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, but if not, you should. The tone of the show is a combination of OG Trek and Next Gen; sometimes more of one or the other based on episode. Season 2 Episode 9 might be one of the most bizarre, cheesy, mesmerizing, hilarious TV episodes I've ever watched. While the episode can be viewed as a stand-alone, it does help to be current going into it. And there's a Klingon cameo near the end of it that had me laughing so hard, my wife had to come check on me.
Whoever wrote that episode needs to have an Emmy just simply set aside for them to pick up next year.

"The single most important thing for a hitter is to get a good pitch to hit. A good hitter can hit a pitch that’s over the plate three times better than a great hitter with a ball in a tough spot.”

Loudermilk o Amazon Prime is the anti Ted Lasso, but strives to be it?
It great.
Dubito Ergo Cogito Ergo Sum.
I finally got around to watching From. I enjoyed it a lot, but it definitely feels like Lost and not in the good way. At this point they have so many mysteries that I doubt they'll ever get around to answering them all.

I started The Sopranos recently. I'm in the middle of season 2 now.
Not a huge fan but its an entertaining series thats proved funnier than I thought it would be.
Vince Gilligan has said Tony Soprano influenced the Walter White character
The new seasons of Reservation Dogs and Only Murders have been great, so far.
And the second they end, I look forward to immediately cancelling Hulu again.

I’ve been watching Jury Duty on Prime and it is one of the funnier shows I’ve watched recently. The premise is it’s a documentary of a trial, but the entire thing is fake with actors except for one guy who isn’t in on it.
Just turned the channel to ESPN on my Spectrum cable and Disney has pulled all the ESPN channels off cable.
Evidently a bargaining ploy. Grrrr.
With a purple umbrella and a fifty cent hat
Already ESPN is getting $9.45 per month from Spectrum so it likely adds $10+ most subscribers cable bill, the old Bally channels were the second most expensive. The problem is only about 25% of cable subscribers watch either but the other 75% have to pay $15+ per month for their cable package for channels they seldom/never watch. Spectrum just raised charges for VOIP, Internet and broadcast fee, any settlement = higher cable bills. The catch-22 is as more people become cable cutters, Spectrum has to raise charges to recover the fees they pay Disney/ESPN which causes even more people to cut cable. If ESPN was sold separately it likely would be $20+. I only watch Sept-Dec for baseball playoffs, college football.
