I finished this last week and loved it. I didn’t read the book, just loved the style and the story.

I haven’t seen this week’s episode but Handmaid’s Tale is doing their usual pattern of opening a season strong, establishing some interesting new story elements, and then completely ignoring those elements to go on a weird merry go-round of dead end sub-stories. I’m hoping they at least keep the part of the pattern where they end the season strong.

I actually didn't watch season 2 until last month so I just binged 2 and 3 pretty much back to back, and it's been a lot of fun. Hope they can get another couple of good seasons in.

Through 2 seasons Dark has been fantastic but I'm kinda worried about the ending of s2. There's such a tangled mess of timelines that introducing a new dimension or world or whatever before the start of the last season feels overly ambitious.

But it's delivered two times now so hopefully they have one more in them.

this season of Last Chance U might be the best one yet. I've never seen a show/documentary explore the relationship between college football and academics the way this show does.

I love the show but actually found S4 to be my least favorite. Don't get me wrong - I still thoroughly enjoyed it, but it didn't "pop" for me the way the other 3 did.

I can't wait to see where they go next.

Three episodes into The Boys on Amazon and it's a blast. It's latest from Eric Kripke, who gave the world Supernatural and Timeless.

The Breaking Bad sequel-movie has a trailer.

Finished watching a couple weeks ago a British TV series called, "The Detectorists". 5 Stars from Amazon Prime. Comedy Awards from Britain. Good acting. Written, directed and starring the same person. Single-camera action.

Complete story in three seasons. So good, I watched all three seasons in about 10 days (gave up sleep to find the time).

I still don't see how "Game of Thrones" is so popular. The writing is terrible and the acting is worse. It's like a bad soap opera with a ton of violence and special effects thrown in to try to make up for the bad acting and bad writing.

The bar must be set pretty low for people when it comes to watching television.

Chappelle's new Netflix special was, of course, outstanding.

Pure brilliance. This was Chappelle at his best. Best thing he’s done since Chappelle Show.
