Probably worse than that, and still even though there have been successes against lesser teams (can you hear me Pittsburgh?), it doesn't mean much. I see an improving team, but the way we've seen the last few games have been managed (pitchers out the kazoo) just shows me that the future is a long way away. price used 13 pitchers the last two games and the result was 19 innings of 9 hits and 17 runs. I'm not confident. The success of Mahle, Romano, and others is wonderful, but it doesn't make me feel so happy inside. I hope for the best, but...

So your latest kick is complaining about using too many pitchers during September call ups?

You know management has given up when you see a lineup of Kivelhan at third,Peraza in CF and Rookie Davis on the mound. I knew when I saw that lineup the Reds had no chance. It didn't take long for the bombings to start. I only watched the first few innings because Morgan was in the booth. Otherwise I would have just left this game alone. Sounded like Morgan was going to be back for Friday nights game. He has some Sparky story he wants to tell about game 7 of the 75 series.

Welcome Mella, you fit in nicely on this pitching staff. McGuire has got to get with the program. Another scoreless outing. Can't take much more of that.

What has happened to Ervin? For some reason I thought he was hurt but I don't know for sure. If he's healthy he should be playing.
