Parker k's. Phew. He always worries me when he is between the white lines.

Darn Reds almost two turn but Concepcion airmails the throw and it is 2-1.

Reds running wild on Sanguillen is the thing I remember most about this series.

    5th inning now.
2 on and 2 out for Stargell. (1:48:00)
    Stargell swinging for the fences.

Hey Benny Goodman and Roy Rogers are in the house per Marty!

Bench out to calm down Norman who must have seen Mr. Goodman and his wife in the stands.

    He k's Stargell!!!

It's an official game. On to the bottom of the 5th!

Morgan gets things going with a double. Bench up.

Tekulve in for the Pirates. He really should try some of those steroid things. Dude is skinny.

Perez with the single off of Tekulve's leg but Morgan has to stop at 3rd. Nice to see the Reds not running into unnecessary out on the basepaths!

Zisk single leads to a meeting on the mound.

I have to head out for a bit in case anyone else wants to do PBP. (2:11:30)

Well I got stuck out longer than expected. Looks like the Reds won 6-1. I will have to read the paper tomorrow to see how the last innings went. Series resumes on the 7th in Pittsburgh.

Gary Nolan will face off against John" I kinda look like a Pirate" Candelaria.

This new broadcaster the Reds brought in to call games with Joe seems ok. He's no Al Michaels. I wonder how long he'll be around?
