Can't remember where I read it but, I read recently that Saban left the Dolphins because he realized very quickly that the NFL wasn't for him. That he had no control in the NFL.

One would think if he ever did decide to go back to the NFL that he would ask for Gruden money. And teams may be hesitant to pay that much for him so he'd just be content with staying in college.

    Same thing happened with Spurrier.

BREAKING: Former #Houston & #TAMU HC Kevin Sumlin is expected to become the new head coach at #Arizona, per source.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Arizona with, IMHO, a much better hire than Arizona State.

Sumlin and Khalil Tate are likely to create many a headache for opposing PAC 12 defenses.

Well now they're saying he's no longer being investigated due to conflicting statements and lack of a independent witness.

    Re: College Football 2018

Looks like Herm Edwards isn't really prepared for coaching college football:

Arizona State has just 11 signees and no other verbal commitments — fewer than anyone else in major college football. The Sun Devils went through a coaching change and hired Herm Edwards, who seems astonished by the realities of modern recruiting. But most classes will finish with about 25 players in them, with around 20 of them signed before signing day. This is all a whole new world for college football.

It's not as cushy as ESPN analyst.
