When you heard his voice, you knew it was a big game. For so many years. I’ve missed him from announcing.

RIP Keith. You are one of the good guys.

I am feeling old.
RIP Mr. Jackson
I posted it on twitter, but one of my favorite beer commercials was Keith officiating a marriage between some guy and a five foot-six debutante from ALAAABAMA
The vows are up....and they are good.
And here's the kiss: whoa Nelly!
Keith Jackson was the voice of college football. He did many other sports but he did college football better than any. You could tell he really loved it and was very knowledgable. If Jackson was doing the game you knew it was a big game. He had been retired for over ten years and pretty much stayed away from the game. He was on a game, maybe it was last years Rose Bowl and I didn't know who he was until they had said his name. His voice had really diminished and didn't look like himself at all. So he must have had some very bad health problems. RIP Keith Jackson.

RIP! I remember when Keith Jackson made the calls for the WR Keith Jackson. He often said Whoa Nellie let me tell you about Keith Jackson!

You all have pretty much summed it up .... the guy was one of the absolute best. One source I was reading said Keith was the Edward R. Murrow of sports broadcasters. So true. So true.
