Valient effort though. 3-2 loss in Championship game of the regional. Minnesota swept their regional, showing the Big-12 was stronger this season. Unfortunately, they have to face Oregon State next, who looks like they have their best team ever.

What pisses me off is they had opportunities to win it in the 8th and 9th. And yes the B1G was strong this year. Don't sleep on Minny. Go Stanford!!!!!

That should be the matchup. Last year Casey held him out from the 1st game and started him in the 2nd. But, he'll use him first this time with Heimlich having not been drafted again. He just dominated Minnesota for 8-2/3 innings in the Opener of the Super.

Four game 3s is pretty good for the Supers. Should be an exciting day. I'm particularly interested in the Tennessee Tech/Texas game. I feel like that could be a 12-11 type slugfest.

    Re: College Baseball 2018

College baseball coaches are weird. Texas is up 4-1 in the 6th, and they brought in one of their starters from the regular season in relief. Problem is, he'd pitched three innings in relief yesterday. He promptly walked two guys (including throwing a breaking ball that flew about 20 feet over homeplate and to the backstop). Now there are two on and none out for Tennessee Tech, and Texas had to go back to the pen to find someone else.
