Teams are already having enough issues finding 5 guys to start. Adding 2 more teams just waters down the product on the field even more.

There are guys being kept in the minors to alter service time, but how many players AAAA players make the MLB roster early in the season in order to accomplish this?
I am with JayBruceFan, I don't think there are enough quality major league players to support two more teams. Everything would be stretched too thin, offense would be up because the pitching would be woeful.

Seeing what the area is like out here, I think the Athletics would be well served by moving up the road to Sacramento. They're the capital, have a large population, already have an NBA team that draws well, and I believe the SF AAA team draws well too. Then that team would be well positioned to draw from up and down the I-5 (Lodi, Stockton, Tracy) and the far east bay suburbs. However, I'm sure there are smart people who have considered and rejected that idea. They're talking a new stadium down by Jack London Square.

Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.
Who in Montreal is going to build a stadium? they will get NO help from the local government and Olympic stadium is still a dump.
Go Gators!
Stephen Bronfman (son of a former Expos owner) is spearheading the effort and they've already got initial designs. It would be down in the old factory district along the St. Lawrence, close to the old city and downtown. And the city's mayor is a big supporter, so it would surprise me if they got some government cheese.
I'm not a system player. I am a system.

According to a 2017 Washington Post article, youth baseball participation dropped from 16.5% to 12.4% from 2008 to 2016 alone.
The percentage of African Americans currently in MLB is 6.7, the lowest it's been since 1957.
American kids don't play baseball like they used to and the influx of international players isn't enough to make up the difference.
The talent will not be there in the future to keep expanding unless you're happy with a severely watered down product.

Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

How's this for a pipe dream? Instead of a team paying baseball over a billion, have the owner pay a billion into a trust fund and build his own stadium.
