I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m certain Super Troopers 2 will be just as terrible as Super Troopers.

I am a gigantic Star Wars fan. I’ve read all the EU and have seen all of the movies scores of times. I was on local tv as a freshman in HS waiting in line to buy tix for The Phantom Menace.

The Phantom Menace is a completely awful movie. I would easily rather watch In The Army Now instead.

Before you say I haven’t seen enough movies or whatever. Nah. I’ve seen a ton, I actually collect VHS. I actually enjoy bad movies. I’d rather watch a terrible movie than a mediocre one. With that said, TPM is so beyond bad, it’s not even fun bad.

Phantom Menace is terrible, but if you’re going to pick a Star Wars movie for this list, it has to be Attack of the Clones. Far worse than Phantom Menace.

Episode 2 is the worst Star Wars film.

There Will Be Blood is perfect.

Tree of Life - half of the people I've talked to about the film think it's a masterpiece and consider it one of their all-time favorites, the other half think the exact opposite. No in-between.

Sideways, I have mixed feelings about. At first, I loved it, but now it's almost a chore to sit through. Miles is probably the most depressing film character of all time.

I'll throw one into the mix - American Beauty (love Mendes' Road to Perdition, though).

Arise and walk, come through. A world beyond that door is calling out for you. Arise and walk, come through. It's calling out for you.

I won't call it my favorite but Tree of Life got me at the right time where watching nostalgic, life affirming moving pictures loosely strung together was pretty entertaining. I thought it did a good job of presenting how emotional childhood memories can work.

I'll stick to some stuff I've seen in the last few years. I don't want to trust my teenage self.

The Monuments Men - a monumental disaster especially when you consider the cast involved. No wonder they tried to hide it in January.
Love Actually - they managed to put all the worst rom com cliches into one movie.
Steve Jobs - That Sorkinisms video ruined his movies for me and this is as smarmy as ever.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - the worst CGI I've ever seen.

As for movies others have mentioned, The Lobster and Super Troopers both have hilarious first halves, even if they do lose their steam in the middle...

American Beauty aged horribly in just about every way a movie could age badly.

Sideways - sometimes I wonder if I didn't get this because I was in my early 20's when I saw it and couldn't relate. Possible I could more now.

The Boondock Saints - I can't figure out the love for this - I kind of think maybe the people who love this movie haven't seen many movies. I would say more, but a lot of people love this movie, and I don't like insulting people's tastes.
You watch your mouth of Boondock Saints. That is one of my favorites.

I never gave Sideways a chance, probably should watching it now with things changed in my life.

I don't get to watch a whole lot of movies anymore, most of the time its Netflix shows or catching up on my DVR.

I did try to watch Carol, it was pretty bad, I fell asleep.

Back in you younger days I was able to watch a ton of bad movies, just don't have the time anymore. Now if you want to talk about Disney Princess or Disney Fairy movies, I can give you a list of bad ones there!

Worst movie I have seen in a theater is easily "Pet Semetary". Paws down, not even close.

Another couple movies that come to mind:

Arrival (I didn't make it 15 minutes into that movie before I couldn't take it anymore.)
THE Arrival (This is from back in the 90s, Charlie Sheen was in it)
Moon Over Parador (was supposed to be a comedy, big names, lots of cameos, only movie I've ever walked out of a theater because I thought it was horrible)

When was the last time you watched Boondock Saints?

One of my favorite memories of college was back in 2003, after not having seen the movie for a year or two, popping my DVD of it, realizing how bad it is, and then trading it for a sandwich bag of something. It was like getting something for free!

    Yes.

The Phantom Menace, and really, all 3 of the prequels are among the worse films ever made.

Truly, truly, terrible cinema. There are moments where you cringe, the acting is awful, the direction is atrocious...George Lucas should be ashamed. "This is a movie for 12 year old boys." Don't insult 12 year old boys....

One wonders how people could be so stupid to repeat the process over and over again of burying your pet in a cemetery that brings your dog or cat back as an awful creature.

Fairly recently. On TV so it wasn't as good. I still stand by it, I love that movie!
