You mean the ending that featured multiple saves from Titi and at least one ball off the crossbar?

Yeah, I'd be hard pressed to say Crew weren't pushing to take all 3 points at home there.

Do they have to play in Mexico or was that it?

One and done. That was it. Fame, bragging rights, eternal glory and a decent game check to the winners.

Now back to regularly scheduled programming.

A 2-0 loss to ATL and 2-1 loss to SEA, both at home, is a big setback for POR. Change of strategy seems necessary.

Columbus Crew takes the first Hell is Real Derby with a 3-1 win at Nippert.

Galaxy did ok through this stretch. If they can beat Seattle this weekend, they’ll be in 2nd in the West which is where they were a month ago, albeit in a much tighter race. After this weekend they play the bottom four teams in the West, Montreal at home and a tough one at RSL. But it’s still a pretty favorable schedule to get that 2 seed and get on the opposite side of LAFC in the playoffs.

I like how ATL and LAFC are running riot on all the parity obsessed franchises in the league.

Atlanta is playing very well right now. Their speed and confidence are at a high level. Minnesota chased the game after the early goals.
Too bad the game was not broadly televised.

Minnesota really played well this Summer. Their only recent blemish, and it's not a blemish, is a 2-1 loss at Atlanta. Minnesota just had a stunning 2-0 win at LAFC.

That was a big win. Second biggest to the Portland Cup semi-final win. Vrs LA, We got the tactics right, full squad commitment to the tactics and two really good finishes by our young US forward Mason Toye.
But there are 6 matches until the end of the season and teams in places 2-8 are separated by only 6 points.

Minnesota has the toughest road in of all the West contenders too.
