Castilla would be a lot better if the ump would give him that just outside pitch they always call on Scooter

    41 pitches in the first.

    This game turned sour fast

Could be, but I wouldn’t worry too much. He threw 95 without too much effort against the last batter.

This isn’t easy, young pitchers, cold weather, guys are going to have rough patches. Leagues have seen him pitch for awhile, know what to expect.

Four very young pitchers in the rotation is unlikely to be smooth.

So, Hughes has to be cold after waiting so long to pitch again, right? Might get him for one more

    Wishfull thinking

The problem is he hasn't had any good patches this year

Reds down 1-2-3 in the top of the 2nd

Leadoff double starts the bottom of the 2nd

OK, just got home and turned on the TV. (Listened to the 1st inning with Marty & Cowboy on the radio.)

First, Peraza doesn't hit many HR's, but when he does hit one, it goes a LONG way.

Second, had THom complained yet about Target Field not having a roof?

So are we still not allowed to worry at all about Castillo?

Less velocity, less movement, giving up tons of base runners.

Something is up. Can't dismiss texasdave's bodysnatcher theory.
