Odorizzi has some underwhelming stuff but he still gets swings and misses. Hopefully Sal is paying attention. Needs to go up the latter way more often with his fastball.

Marty, Thom and Jeff get all over any Red that makes an error, sometimes griping about it for innings.

But when Scooter makes one neither one of'em says a word.

Scooter is from Cincinnati and I guarantee he aligns perfectly with Marty, Thom, and Jeff if you get what I’m saying.

In an AL ballpark, Winker should be the DH. Both Duvall and Schebler should be in the OF.

I completely agree. I do not understand Winker in the field and Schebler at DH.

I can live with not great range but zero reason he can’t have the proper footwork and catch the ball in position to throw. Really not hard at all.

Proper footwork and positioning (i.e., fundamentals) should be expected, especially for a player who is supposedly a natural outfielder. It shouldn't matter if he is in LF or RF (or CF, for that matter).

In fairness they never did when Phillips did, in fact they would often allude to the number of incredible plays he had made.

An error is an error, they are all different types and some bigger than others and some tougher than others.

Basically though, Scooter and Winker are not good on defense.

Also, Welsh is always harder on the younger player and gives more leeway to the older player. I’ve noticed that the last few years

I completely agree. I do not understand Winker in the field and Schebler at DH.

The only reasons I can think of would be if the Reds had played a long stretch of games, and Schebler needed a day off but they wanted to keep his bat in the lineup. Or maybe Scott wasn't feeling well.
