    It doesn't get as much press, but A Man in Full is one of my favorite novels.

    Funny how this stuff happens, but I heard an interview last week with one of the Merry Pranksters and remembered reading The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test when I was in high school, something I hadn't thought about in decades. I guess you never remember the coincidences that don't happen.

    But anyway, Wolfe wasn't all image; he was a talented writer who changed the game.

    I was a space junky kid growing up and The Right Stuff is up there with my favorite reads of all time. Huge loss but a life well lived.
