    Duvall played in 6 games in 2016 in RF, with 5 starts and has only been in LF since except when he was in the infield. Looking at his defensive runs saved per 1200 innings the last 3 seasons:

    2016 RF -55 runs
    2016 LF +16 runs
    2017 LF +8 runs
    2018 LF +31 runs

    In the last two seasons Winkler has played 51 games in RF, and and 19 in LF, and looking at his DRS/1200 innings ratings:

    RF -33 runs
    LF -25 runs

    Schebler for his 4 yr career:

    RF +3
    CF 0
    LF -7

    Billy Hamilton for his exclusive CF 6 yr career is at +11 runs with this year by year:

    2013 +27
    2014 +14
    2015 +10
    2016 +19
    2017 +9
    2018 -3

    Duvall is playing, and playing his regular position, so he can get his BA up, keep up his superior LF play, and be traded at the deadline.

    Unfortunately the pitchers have him totally figured out this year. Probably not going to work.

    Meanwhile, since the outfield rotation is still being used, we now can surmise that the FO didn’t agree with the mgr that it should be scrapped.

    The article announcing it noted that Riggleman announced it after a meeting with GM Nick Krall and Buddy Bell.

    I don't get this Redszone desire to turn Riggleman into some sort of brave truth-teller to the evil front office.
