They're more for our entertainment consumption as well as to familiarize fans with players that might end up being drafted by their favorite team. Because current log jams shouldn't have an effect on who they draft today. Draft BPA and call it a day. If there is still a log jam when India is ready then they will worry about it then.

Except at this point (less than 3 hours before the draft begins) the ones from the top sources -like Callis and BA- are often well informed. My sense as I said above is that India is the favorite at this point. Hopefully someone unexpected (Mize or Singer) drops.

India has a slash line of .364/.504/.733. Incredible season in a league as tough as the SEC.
I would prefer Madrigal and Singer, but that is not a slight on India.
I just saw that. I had to look Seitzer up. I have to agree that is rather disgusting. The guy maxed out at 15 homeruns and only higher than 10 twice. I could see India getting 20-25 several years. I am nervous about his strikeout numbers but he has shown he can improve, so hopefully the strike out numbers will continue to get better.
As for BPA I will be disappointed if Madrigal or Singer are there but I really don't want them to go high school pitcher two years in a row.
While I don't really want India, what's the difference between draft day India and draft day Senzel?
