Hate to say it but the reality check begins tomorrow night.

Then they'd have to tell him that and they aren't going to do that.

Bring up an older non-prospect like Iribarren to be the 25th man as he is versatile (can even pitch in a blowout) and it won't impede his own progress.

There have been so many rest days in the past 2 or 3 weeks the regulars need fewer days off than in periods where things will be a real grind.
    Yes.

Not a great pic, but a great day to be at the ol' ballpark!

(Two local vintage teams playing a game before "the" game.)
Doesn't look like anyone agrees with you.

Nice to see the REDS win the first game of a series. It's been difficult for them. But, then they win the series in the 2nd game on back-to-back easy victories. Nice.

Was actually a decent crowd for a weekday game. About 20,000, plus a bunch of kids on promotions that I doubt count as tickets sold.

That pic was during the exhibition game about an hour before first pitch.

Always liked any pregame stuff myself.

Fallen below worst franchise record pace with this win. Reds are proving they can beat the really bad teams. Maybe that's some progress? Next 11 games are against very good teams in the Cubs,Braves and Brewers. We will see how much they have really improved by July 1.

I agree, except I'll add the July 4th series as well, as it's a good time to reevaluate again.
