    Slow Pitch Soft Ball Advice

I play slow pitch softball, up at triple creek park close to colerain, and bought a Miken Maniac because it had good reviews. My question is should I break it in at the batting cages? I heard that batting cages use denser balls and can ruin my bats pop. Also do you all play slow pitch softball and what bat do you all use?

Never use a game bat at a batting cage. about 100 swings/hits in practice will break it in.

    I miss softball.

Been playing slow pitch softball for about 20 years in a co ed church league. Love it and agree 110% with TRF on NOT using it in a cage. Break it in with some practice, batting cages are a awful way to break in a bat. Good buy by the way!
