Cedrola is not a tool shed because he does not hit for power. He is, however, unquestionably a tool belt.

Re: Lorenzo Cedrola acquired from Boston

After fairly forgettable performances in Dayton and Daytona since coming over from Boston, Cedrola seems to have rediscovered some of his Boston system form. He's hitting .311/.345/.441 so far on the season for Chattanooga and has even popped 4 HRs so far which ties his all-time season high. He's got the lowest strikeout rate in the Double-A South League and his BABIP is a fairly sustainable .329. Not bad for a 23-year-old and if his defense is as previously advertised he might at least make for a viable bench player.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
