Well, I'll take 2 out of 3 in STL all day, every day. Suck it, BFIB.

    bleh we're bad again

Vottobot calibrations needed during the break, along with some other guys. But a lot of fun games the last month.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

You sound as miserable as the announcer who will not be named. The guy has shown up in tons of games.

Maybe I'm a poor sport but I don't get the "Congrats to Mike Schilldt on his first win as interim manager" comment.

He's a member of The Cardinal organization and frankly I hope they lose every game the rest of the season on their way toward being contracted and having their stadium bulldozed.

I doubt the announcers of other teams gave a damn about Riggleman’s managing comeback

I agree completely why would the Reds announcers ever congratulate the opponent?

I put that in the good sport category...I’m never against being a good sport

I haven't read this thread so apologies if this has been discussed but upon (my) video review Duvall's foul ball in the 4th was really a grand slam that wasn't called. It visibly changes course upon deflecting from impact with the yellow foul pole stanchion. Those two additional runs (2 of the 3 on base scored anyway) plus the missed throw to the plate by Tucker allowing 2 Cardinal runners to advance a base and eventually score who otherwise wouldn't have were the difference in this game.

A 5-4 on a road trip in three very tough places to win is very much acceptable. Reds end the first half the complete opposite of how they started it. They are playing very well and gives us all much hope for the future. Hopefully they can sustain this momentum when the 2nd half starts and continue to build in the 2nd half for 2019.
