    Blandino Injury

That is one of the dirtiest plays I've seen in baseball in a long long time.
Exacerbated by the fact that they're up 10 runs in a rain delayed game at 1:15am.
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

It wasn't dirty. It was just very unfortunate.

If he's out, who's next up?

Doug Gray tweeted that Blake Trahan left tonight's game with an injury. Either the Reds make a minor trade or hope that Dixon can fake it for a while.

Trahan got hit by a pitch. Waiting to hear what happened.

Senzel can play SS. Wait. No. He's hurt.

Peraza just doesn't get any time off is the answer.

It wasn’t dirty at all. The pirates player stopped short of 2nd base.

Hmmm...pretty slim upper level pickings in the upper tiers of the farm. If Trahan's is a missed time injury the I'd guess Luis Gonzalez moves from Pensacola to L'Ville & Alberti Chavez goes from Daytona to the Wahoos. Nobody to move up though. Calten Daal's status shows him on the 7-day DL (but I believe he's been there for sometime) and AlfRod shows he is "Active," but he hasn't played in a game since 06/14. My guess is Suarez backs SS and Duvall backs him at 3B until they can find a AAAA-type they can purchase temporarily (Cliff Pennington's still available). Maybe Dilson is used as an emergency SS. The other option? They've been working on a deal that includes a SS-capable MI and they go ahead and pull the trigger.

A couple of guys that come to mind that are in AAA to me are:

    1) Danny Espinosa(Phils)- Lehigh Valley- could be had for basically nothing, Think Gavin LaValley type

    2) Matt Reynolds (Nats)-Syracuse- this is a guy I actually like, gives us depth at a thin position.

Look, I acknowledge I was bartending at the time and didn't get a great look, but in what reality is barrel rolling into second base with a 10 run lead in the 9th inning not dirty?

He could've simply pulled up or slid off to the right, but he went in like a godda*n pulling guard.
Am I really the only person who has a problem with that play at 1am, in the 9th inning of a 10 run game?

Good God, in what world is a guy going hard into second base in the 9th inning of a 10 run game not dirty?

Why did he do anything other than jog to second?

Reds are still trying to score runs, don’t get the “it’s late” stuff.

Any chance Suarez is back-up SS? There may not be many innings needed.
