They haven't changed in my eyes.

    Where have they changed? Link?
99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

I absolutely agree with you. Dick said he didn't know much about Alf, and trusted his scout. How could you ever trust that scout again? That's a big big miss.
    WHEN DOES IT STOP!?!?

That scout better be the same guy that brought them Suarez.

Way too early to throw Garcia on the barby. The absence of a bat is disturbing, but not yet fatal.

Fredo's all the way down in the AZL. If he can't hit there at age 24, hard to see him as more than minor league filler.

He homered last night for Daytona.

Ah, read his game log wrong. Missed the promo back to A+.

You could have made some good money betting on him going deep.

I'm still about Garcia. He's adjusting and his bat is trending upwards. Alfie? Not so much. You can find a lot of no hit/great glove SSs littering the AAAA landscape and can have one pretty much anytime you need them for major league minimum. Alf is more spectacular? OK, but how much more is flair worth over a fundamentally sound no bat As with great range?

Outside of some in the Reds camp, experts pretty much agreed that there was little chance AR would produce consistently at the plate. It was a bad gamble and a colossal waste of what was basically three years of a very scarce resource (International Cap Money). Just me, but I think you reserve big money deals for big bats & big arms.

I think you wrote off Alf too soon. I even heard there's a reboot in the plans....

Heard there will be stiff opposition from PETA & Cat Lover's Anonymous.
