Schebler hitting leadoff worked, but he got hurt so we need to try Billy hitting leadoff for the 11th thousand time.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Sucks having a 0 at the top of the order but as a recent Schebler owner in fantasy, I love him hitting at 5.

The catcher thing at 1b drives me crazier.

Schebler in the 1 spot worked because Votto, Duvall, and Winker were lower in the lineup to give a threat of thump. Without them there, Scheb is one of the better power options and makes sense lower down,.

Agreed. I would rather see Dixon or Herrera there.

Maybe start Herrera, and bring in Dixon for defensive purposes.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't at this point. They need a qualified hitter to bat 1st and they need a qualified hitter to protect Suarez. I'm surprised Suarez isn't walked in half of his PA's.

Dixon shouldn't be on this team.

Scooter should have been playing 1st as soon as Votto hit the D.L. Herrera should have been at 2nd. Dixon is terrible and should not be on a major league team.

Herrera has more experience at 1B than Scooter.

If we're going to start chopping heads that don't belong, we aren't going to be able to field a team.

The extent of that “more experience” is the one inning they gave Herrera at first base in a blowout a few weeks ago. He’s literally played no 1B besides that.
