Geez, Sims in relief. That pretty much means we'll see Bailey next time.

It's too bad that compression sleeve company doesn't make them in red.

Why would Sims have had his start skipped on Friday if he was going to replace Bailey? He wasn't going to replace him, not sure why anybody thought that was a possibility.

A nice debut inning from Sims.

Very impressive second frame from Sims. Would certainly be nice to see him get some starts this month.

To channel my inner Big Klu, Sims is wearing #39 to follow in the footsteps of Aaron Harang and Devin Mesoraco.

Reds do get the one run they're playing for in the top of the 7th, Redlegs go ahead 3-2 on a Votto sac fly.

Thing I like about Sims is that he's very loose in his delivery. He's impressive.

Not much more satisfying in baseball than Matt Adams lining into a DP

Is it really possible our AAA team can take a road series from the playoff chasing dirty birds?

    nm

Trouble with Hughes to start the 8th, walk and a single.

Bases loaded with two outs for Harrison Bader.

Really smart play by Bader that was negated by stupid play by whoever was on third. Bader runs thru second and beats the throw. Gets called out. Would have been overturned, but runner on third never went home. Scooter has them throw home to force the runner at home, meaning Cards can't appeal the play.
