And now they walk Carpenter intentionally

Winning run comes to the plate

I never feel confident with Iglesias as a closer this season

A little Bonds treatment for Carpenter. LOL. But I tend to think it's the right decision. This guy may hit a bomb and beat us, but so be it.

Halfway surprised that wasn't lost in the sun for an inside-the-park HR.

    Exhale.

He should have been traded a while ago but apparently we can't finish in last place without him or something.

This organization is hard to root for sometimes.

Maybe Williams agreed with many on the board who thought the Reds should demand Robles or something similar as the return for Iglesias, which was never realistic.

Tis sweet to beat the Cardinals in series at their place. The high-flying St.Louis team that had the best record in August. They are 0-2 in September. You're welcome, Cubs and Brewers.

You get good starting pitching, and you win ballgames. Maybe someone in the Reds' analytical department can run some numbers on that over the long, cold, quiet winter. See if there is any connection at all.
