Uneventful first inning of play. Chris Welsh pushing for Riggleman a bit.

Uneventful second inning of play. George Grande looking for a double play with two outs.

Not sure who I'd rather see win the 2nd wildcard, LA or St. Louis.

I don’t know where else to put this...

It doesn’t relate to George and Chris today, but you know one of my favorite things I like to hear as I watch different games? The PBP guy reads a promo (let’s say during a NCAA game they read an NFL promo). The PBP guy kinda leaves it hanging with an opinion, hoping the color guy adds on...but it’s just weird silence and the color guy goes back to the game at hand. Hilariously awkward.

Thom runs into that issue with Chris at times...

This just in - Billy Hamilton is very fast. Triple + Sac Fly = 1-run lead for the Reds.

Not sure why there was no throw on the sac fly. You never know.

Chris Dickerson with a "Whoa, Nelly!" catch.

Lorenzen has pitched shutout ball for four innings so far. If they held an arm-wrestling contest on the Reds, put your money on Michael. He has some guns.

Herrera has struck out an ungodly amount of times since being recalled. But when bat meets ball, he has some thump.

I have no idea what Billy Hatcher was thinking when he sent Herrera, but it worked. Dilson was dead to rights. Lorenzen picks up RBI number 10 on the season.
