Reds already have allowed 13 unearned runs, don’t need guys out of position. Would agree with Aquino as DH instead of Winker, just don’t see how AA replaces infielders.

I just can’t get over that lineup. This is a team that’s supposed to compete? Really? Career minor leaguer Matt Davidson is batting cleanup? Christian Colon is getting another start? Hapless Jesse Winker is facing a LHP while Votto, one of the few people who’s shown a consistent ability to get on base this season, gets the day off? Unreal.

Tonight’s lineup is looking pretty dire. I don’t know whose decision it was to boot Aquino off the roster again, but there’s basically zero reason why he shouldn’t be playing tonight instead of Colon, Davidson, or Winker even.

Winker went 2-3 against a pitcher historically bad against LHP. Davidson obviously had a great game, but I think we all know it was a fluke.

The larger issue is we now have example # 7,981 of Senzel being made of glass.

A fluke? How do we know? What's the process we used to come to that conclusion?

As for Senzel, He left a game the team was winning big because of muscle tightness. I'd rather he do that then rip his leg and crash on the warning track like Junior did.
