Jags play Thursday. Speculation a deal might come Friday. There's a lot of speculation that Marrone has lost the clubhouse. Lost in all of this is Tom Coughlin who supposedly is the voice of the franchise yet is nowhere to be seen/heard.

If I'm Khan going forward, I approve a trade for Ramsey. He has never wanted to be here and we'll lose him anyway. Better to trade him now.

Will be interesting to see what happens based on Thursday's game. Does a win change things? We have a mini-bye coming up. I wonder if it was ugly loss if they might let Marrone go immediately? Should be interesting over next few days.

Well yeah... When you put a top 5 defensive player in the NFL (not my words, this was said the other morning on Golic and Wingo) on the block there is going to be a lot of interest. This is why those reported offers (a 1st/5th and a 1st/player) are not going to come close to what he would bring back in a deal Jacksonville would accept. Rumors are they want two #1s. I think they could get that and some.

Another good game from Gardner Minshew. He was underrated coming out of college and I’m enjoying seeing him prove folks wrong every week this season.

Just two years ago, Minshew started for ECU against FCS team James Madison. He was benched in that game after going 7-18 for 82 yards and 1 INT, a game ECU lost 34-14 en route to a 3-9 season. Now he’s starting for the Jaguars and leading them to actual NFL wins. What a great and unlikely story.

OK, was out of town for a few days (was in Buckeye land). Jags handled the Titans well. 9 sacks. That's big because the Titans always seem to beat us somehow. If Marrone hadn't had a brain fart in game 2 we'd probably be 2-1 and not 1-2.

We head into a favorable stretch of the schedule. Broncos, Panthers, Saints, Bengals, Jets. Normally of course Saints would probably be penciled in as a L, but Brees will still be out so that makes it more favorable.

Besides defense playing well, Gardner Minshew continues to impress. He's now got the third highest QB completion percentage and 8th best rating. He's accurate, smart and has quick release. He also seems to have "it". That special something for getting things done.

Heading into the Mile High City city today for a matchup with Broncos. There are a couple things against the Jags. Supposedly Ramsey has a bad back and may not play, and there's supposed to be a flu running rampant thru the locker room (not a good thing when Oxygen will be at a premium).

Still I expect a win, which is usually when Jags let me down. Let's hope Minshew mania is still intact after the game.

For once.... Fournette was 100% in the right. Jags are lining up for game winning field goal when someone shoves Cam Robinson. Robinson starts to go an a rampage that will set Jags back 15 yards and take Jags out of field goal range. Luckily 3 or 4 guys hold him back. It was real idiot stuff.
