Fun singer of a fun band, whenever I hear a Dr Hook song my day gets a little brighter.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

81 years old. Man, these people getting so old is ridiculous. Has anyone told Sylvia's mother?

What a great and undervalued group. I love their music and it really seemed like a bunch of good guys who really had fun playing together.

Did you know there really was a Sylvia's mother? Here's the true story:

She was well into her nineties at this time, living long past the guy who had a crush on her daughter, Shel Silverstein who died in his 60s. Shel Silverstein was a really creative guy. He wrote songs you'd never think about like this one:

He also wrote Cover of a Rolling Stone and the Johnny Cash hit "A Boy Named Sue".
