The Reds have released 24 year old 2bman Dylan Harris.

Dylan was one of the Reds half dozen or so NDFA signees a year ago, having played with Nova Southeastern University.

He should find a job in INDY ball if not elsewhere in affiliated ball.

The Reds have signed 23 year old RHP'er Spencer Stockton, who was playing with Utica in the USPBL; he went undrafted 13 months ago out of Jacksonville University.

The Reds have released C Robert Boselli. He was drafted by the Reds in the 37th round last year as a 4YR SR out of St. John's.

For those not keeping track, the Reds have 325 players under contract (not including restricted list players and IFA's who have signed to play starting next year). That is their maximum limit, so from here on out for every player brought into the system one has to leave it. This is not out of the ordinary, as almost all 30 clubs run into this at this time of the year.

I wasn't aware there was a maximum number. Does that number adjust if a club adds an affiliate at another level?
