Price and Jordan havent been the greatest so far in Cincinnati. Outside of Decker though nobody on the offensive line from Ohio State has been drafted high. Norwell was a solid offensive line undrafted find though.

Ohio State is great at producing top level defensive talent into the NFL. Offensive line not so much.

Elflein, Mewhort and Lindsley were/are all good to very good and all drafted fairly high depending on what your definition is there.

Price not being good is fairly mystifying however

Except for a few games in the start of his career, Elflein has been terrible as a Pro. He has tried playing different positions on the line with infrequent success in run blocking but complete and abject failure as a pass blocker. Vikings fans are begging for his demotion.

I tend to agree with you. You'd have to go all the way back to Orlando Pace (LOL).

The Eagles are begging the Cowboys to win the NFC East. Still not sure Dallas can manage to do it.

    Re: 2019 NFL Season

That Ravens-49ers game was the best NFL game I've watched all season. Wow! QB Jackson is a helluva talent, but his "game" is pretty much centered on his running the ball, using his athletic ability and speed to beat you to the outside (edge) and then kick it from there. But he took a lot of punishing hits in that game yesterday (16 carries for 105 yds). I was thinking yesterday of how Bum Phillips ran Earl Campbell to death, and basically wore him out in short order. Jackson is not Earl Campbell. Just seems very high risk that at some point Jackson will go down. He doesn't throw the ball downfield. The majority of his passes are short -intermediate just under coverage (and he had issues with several of those).

Right now, teams are just trying to contain him. And the 49ers did a pretty solid job yesterday, especially in the second half. No points scored until the FG as time expired.

I love watching the kid. He's like a gazelle, a jaguar (LOL). It just seems teams, in the future, will find better ways to stop him until he improves his passing game.

Jackson may not have thrown the ball downfield much yesterday, but he's definitely got that in his arsenal and has used it quite a bit this year. He throws a very nice deep ball, and he and Hollywood Brown are a pretty lethal combo.

I know they have it in his arsenal (receivers), but the several games that I have watched he was almost non-existent on the long ball. IMO, he just seems to throw a vast majority of short passes underneath coverage. And if that works, that's fine. But my emphasis is on the running game, and Jackson is more of a RB then a passer, and I think it's risky having your QB taking some of the massive hits, like he was taking Sunday, week after week. It's going to catch up to him IMO.

Just tune into the Seahawks every week and you'll get a great football game.

I saw somebody on Twitter say that the Seahawks are like the Chargers, except they win. Seems pretty accurate. Every game is close, and they often make some mistakes to let the other team hang around. The defense is not great, and Chris Carson has a lot of fumbles this year. But Russ is so good, and they figure out how to win at the end, while the chargers always find a new way to lose.

Jackson is 9th in the NFL in yards per attempt, ahead of guys like Rodgers, Brees, Winston, etc.
