Rest In Peace, 20.
Had he not been traded, "Frankie" would have been greatest Reds hitter ever.

Robby, Pinson and Rose have always been my favorite Reds. As a kid here in Charlotte, dad and I went to old Griffith Park in Charlotte to see Cincinnati and the Chicago White Sox for an exhibition game in 1965. My dad new Hoyt Wilhelm so we went down next to the dugout before the game to say hello. But the thing I remember most about the game was getting to see the Reds in those white uniforms with the black and red trim. First time I had ever seen a major league team in color. After the game dad and I stood outside the clubhouse waiting to try and get Robby and Pinson's autograph. They were surrounded by a bunch of folks so I never got the chance. I tried to get Tommy Harper's auto but he was boarding the bus and Joey Jay was kind of aloof never even looking at us even though my dad asked very politely saying my son would love to have your autograph. It didn't happen but I've been a Reds fan since 59 and not getting an autograph was alright with me. To a 12 year old kid they were and always will be my heroes. Rest in Peace Robby and continue to crowd the plate.

One of the great ambassadors of the game. Only a select few people have made such an impact on multiple facets of the sport.

My favorite player of all time. I've never seen any player play harder. I will never forget seeing him in 1956 and I'll never get over the trade. RIP Robby. Thanks for the pride and heart and skill you brought to Cincinnati baseball.

A hero of my childhood and someone I gained more respect for as I grew older and understood him as a player and a manager and an executive. Great integrity.
RIP Frank.
