Still Portland played 6 guys the whole game. I mean presumably they were still NBA players the Kings put in, although the evidence says otherwise.
Trent, Simons and Layman played all 48 minutes.

Grayson Allen dropped 40 in a meaningless loss to the Clippers. Obviously circumstances matter, but that’s still encouraging.

You and I watched different playoffs then.
Smart absolutely made some key plays last year. He also made some key turnovers and bricked a bunch of shots (and missed some games). I like Smart, and think he'll be missed against the Bucks. His primary value is disrupting the other team, particularly when the other team is better. Against the Pacers, not that much of issue. Myles Turner hurt himself the other night. I'm sure he'll gut it out, but no way he's close to 100%. Be prepared for Al Horford to make him run. And Kyrie can have his way against whoever the Pacers play at PG. The Celtics will replace Smart with more scoring on the wing. I'm expecting a big series for Hayward.
Not having Smart there also puts the responsibility to do the Smart-type stuff on his teammates. Now they've got to make those hustle plays. Against an Indiana team that's 8-14 over its last 22 games, they'll get it done.
