So you chose an unproven coordinator whose demand was lukewarm at best over a proven head coach that won at a place literally nobody has been able to win at in recent history. So how is that working out for you? Last year you beat 2 P5 schools, 2 G5 schools (including the worst D1 program in the country in UTEP) and an FCS school....and then this year you lost to a Sun Belt school @ home. My money is on Schiano would have did better to this point. In the end, I wish you well....have no feelings about Tennessee or Pruitt.....but what that fanbase did was repulsive and you should own that.
Sea Ray (and other Tennessee fans I know) will own it but not in that it was repulsive. To them they stopped their university from hiring a coach that enabled child rape.

It is very possible for Tennessee to get back but the field outside of Georgia is more level. As long as Mark Stoops is at Kentucky and recruiting Ohio very well, they aren’t going away anytime soon.

In the case of football, while they've employed various coaches who could 1)Recruit well, but with questionable game-coaching skills (Tepper, Zook) 2)Coach, but couldn't recruit (Mackovic, Ron Turner), they haven't employed a coach adept at both phases (recruiting and coaching) since Mike White.

The fact is we have the same amount of credible evidence that Schiano was aware of or enabled any form of sexual abuse on a child as we have that Pruitt enabled sexual abuse on a child.....which is we do not have any evidence that either did. Schiano has a spouse, kids and a community.....you simply do not use bs allegations like that against a man just to get your way. To make it worse, 9 out 10 Tennessee fans that participated in that smear campaign knew there was more evidence that is was not true compared to the lone voice that made the claim....and they just did not care.

UC ran into a buzzsaw that first half. I'm sure UC won't be very pleased with their performance, but OSU just didn't give them any oxygen.

Michigan trailing Army at the half is fun.

WVU is getting crushed by a Missouri team that lost to Wyoming last week.

Going to be a long season. Hope Mountaineer fans don’t run out of patience with Neal Brown.

I took Mizzou -13.5 because that line made absolutely no sense to me with Mizzou coming off the loss to Wyoming. Usually there's a reason for those lines that make no sense.

I pretty much guarentee there's a few already plotting to call for Brown's head, but most seem to be blaming Holgorsen... I didn't get to watch it yet but many of my friends said today was worse than...

It's Sunday September 8th and I just tuned in the California at Washington game. It's 1:07 a.m. eastern time, and the game has been delayed at 9:46 in the first quarter due to inclement weather...which is lightning and...rain that looks at first to be like snow. The stands are cleared.

Everything I’ve read on social media is actually pretty reasonable from WVU fans. Most knowledgeable fans knew Dana left the cupboard bare on his way out. He complained about recruiting but had a five star OT in his own state that he never considered and the nephew of a former WVU player who grew up a WVU fan that is now the top LB for Oklahoma.

I think Brown will right the ship but right now WVU might be on par with Kansas for this season.

The only thing they would be with Butch is a Champion of Life.

I don’t blame them for getting rid of Butch, I blame them for having a drawn out coaching search that resulted in fan protests, an AD getting ousted, a former football coach stirring the pot to get the AD job, and finally settling on the defensive coordinator at Nick Saban U.

Annnnnd John Adams’ Sunday morning column today: “Can Jeremy Pruitt last past October?” I enjoy schadenfreude as much as the next mean, but this is ridiculous.
