    So...Monday, the following developments happened:

    1) Lander announced that he is staying.

    2) Geronimo soon followed suit.

    3) It was announced that Dane Fife, a killer recruiter, will join Woody's staff as Associate Head Coach.

    That's quite a day!

And still no Franklin. But today is a new day.

Well I, for one, am sick and tired of getting my ass beat by Purdue. Hopefully Woody can change that.

Had a bad feeling about this from the get-go. No question, it's a substantial loss - the team was 7-3 when he rolled his ankle, then suffered another injury and was never the same player - but it doesn't detract from everything Woody's accomplished so far. And at least Franklin is out of harm's way playing for a classy coach in the ACC.

Time to hit the portal again. We'll get through this.

Leading the program back to the point where the final Knight years (if that) are no longer the norm will take care of the Purdue losses issue. Within three years, that's a reasonable goal for Woody and his staff, and I'm not betting against them.

    All true.

As far as Franklin, I guess he is a big fan of a particular defensive scheme?

For as much as he would have made a difference this past season, with Trace, Race and Duncomb (sounds like a Law Firm) this upcoming season, minutes would have definitely been hard to come by for Brunk. That said, another big who better fits Woody's system is still a possibility via the portal.

So far, there's been a lot of talk about this possible transfer concerning a player who, as of now, has yet to enter the portal. But the scuttle-but from here in his hometown has Brooks declaring for the draft process without hiring an agent, and returning to UK if that process doesn't play out in his NBA favor.

I have heard what Rev has. Although a week or so back TJD had what was taken as a cryptic tweet that some deciphered as Brooks to Bloomington. Got to love the rumor mill on the net.

Jai Lucas had a cryptic tweet that was red pill/blue pill from Matrix. That was what people were thinking it was geared towards.
