This? Little, if any, to disagree with here.

After watching them this year I have no problem with these guys leaving. If Ryan is gonna be successful he needs his guys.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

Anyone see this on Bob Knight?

Looks like he may have some dementia issues. If that's the case then he may very well disappear from public life in the near future

He's had early onset of dementia for about 2 years now. Hopefully this is him easing his way back into Assembly Hall next season so he can get the recognition he deserves!!!

He was on the IU campus yesterday I believe...but IU fans have been aware of the health issues.

    Edit: It was yesterday......

Agreed. But JF was/is one of CAM’s guys.

Health permitting, DD, Race Thompson, and a grad transfer, along with TJD should garner the minutes at the 4/5 positions, with Justin Smith at small ball 4. Minutes for the departed JF and CM still would’ve been hard to come by.

While Brunk, assuming he transfers to IU, is more equipped to provide immediate help than the departed duo, he doesn’t possess the ceiling of the departed duo. But the main objective - at least for 90% of the fan base - is to win now, future be damned. In such case, Brunk fits the bill.

I'd say Brunk's ceiling is at or higher than Forrester's. He was a higher ranked recruit. Forrester's dad was complaining about coaching on Twitter throughout the season. Jake was clearly overmatched every time he got on the court, so this may have been a case of parent/player thinking he's a lot better than he is

Agree with you about the annoyances of player's (Forrester and Justin Smith) fathers complaining seemingly non-stop via social media.

Here's the thing with Jake: While somewhat of a project, he was reputed to possess the potential to eventually switch out and guard multiple positions. But yeah, he and Moore, for that matter, have a ways to go to substantially contribute at the major conference level. Moore, IMHO, has a higher ceiling than Jake.

Not that there's anything wrong with it, as immediate contributions are needed, Brunk is more of a classic low-post center; rebounds, doesn't stretch the floor, and while he plays decent positional defense, doesn't block shots, and is a mediocre free throw shooter, even by big man standards. The latter concern may be alleviated with TJD helping from the weak-side.

Other than Trayce Jackson-Davis making a significant impact, what this team needs more than anything in regards to the power positions is a return to good health for De'Ron Davis and Race Thompson, who demonstrated via both high school and AAU games the ability to contribute as a multi-faceted big who can stretch the floor.

I have seen it on several boards by posters that say that Jake was partying all the time. Take it fwiw.
