    Sex trafficking is not.

I read elsewhere that these girls are lured over to American on false promises, and kept 'sex slaves' telling them not to go to authorities.

Of course sex trafficking is not a misdemeanor. But Kraft (absent some crazy new facts coming to life) is not involved in sex trafficking.

Its my holier than thou opinion on this. I don't like it when men in power oppress those who need help. Kraft may not be "involved" in the sex trafficking, but its because of him and people like him that this shop in FL was open.

Fair enough, but do you feel the same way about every American who has ever smoked some Mexican weed or snorted some Colombian coke?

I'm not going to vote for tougher sentences for johns or drug users, personally. Traffickers? Throw away the key.

Could not agree more. It's been a principle of my life since I was a toddler. There are sheep. There are wolves. There are shepherds. I have always been a shepherd. But, at 60, it's time for me to put away my staff as it's a younger person's responsibility. I held mine for over 55 years standing up for the weak and oppressed while everyone else around me stood there and watched with their "principles" while I got into the middle of it and ended it then and there without regard to my own Safety. I've earned the right to "retire" from shepherding and pass the staff on to others. Sadly, as each year has passed in my life, there are more sheep and wolves than ever, and very few Shepherds. I have always found one thing still to be true: In crises, the shepherd will come out of Americans without knowing they have it in them, as long as we continue to attack those who believe they have the right to tell others how to think and how to speak and how to feel (Socialists).

I may be mistaken, but I believe he's widowed. Wiki says he does have a current partner, however.

Heinz/Kraft shares dropped 28% this morning, though it has nothing to do with this.

I don't think he has anything to do with KHC. That's the Kerrys.

Yes. Doesn't have anything to do with this story...just thought it an interesting tidbit.

The 2015 merger of Kraft with Heinz has proved a failure as their cost-cuttings to increase margins hasn't resulted in increased sales where monies needed to be spent on innovation (R&D). Left a related article in the general thread area.

Ah, somebody said he had a 33 year old wife, I thought. It may have been girlfriend. Or a fake meme...

Re: Bob Kraft arrested for soliciting prostitution

Thought this deserved it's own thread...... So, we have a trial lawyer here in town. Obviously he knows and follows Florida law. He's tweeted out a couple interesting things.

The name of a two more billionaires have come out as also being charged.

John Childs, Private Equity billionaire and John Havens, former CEO of Citigroup.

The local lawyer is saying this is no longer a case of lonely rich widower seeks solace in strip mall massage parlor. His take: " there was something you couldn’t get everywhere going on there. Something bad."

Wherever I saw someone bullying someone else. You're welcome.
