I like LeCure but it kind of rubbed me the wrong way that he led Day to the name of the guy he didn't like (so he clearly wanted to talk about it), dumped on Latos, then talked about not crossing that line of the locker room

Also, if I was reading that Andrew McCutchen paystub correctly...

Did it say he’s a resident of Cincinnati? Would not have guessed that one.

I think that tax number would be way higher, maybe that's just the way Cincinnati taxes visiting athletes.

Day has great guests and seems to have a good rapport with everyone, but I feel he leaves a lot of meat on the bone in these interviews.

I think it's because he's so used to doing quick interviews during the game. He's not as good with doing longer, more detailed interviews.

Hm. I was just thinking the other day that he was such an excellent interviewer because he had a feel for when to give an answer some space and come back around. He gets players to open up by not going 60 Minutes on them. His interview with Senzel was amazing.

It’s a really good episode. Thanks for the reminder to listen.

I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.

The latest episode with Farmer was pretty funny.

The best part is learning that Farmer calls Aquino "Pedro Cerrano"

Great interview! India talked about himself being a leader, where he went during the off-season and made a surprise phone call to Kyle Farmer.
