The Garrett/Winker episode was okay, but a missed opportunity. Day's poor interview skills really show in this one.
Winker does come across as a really funny guy, though.

This is the third time you’ve slagged JD for his “interview” skills in this post. If they are so poor why do continue to listen?
Also JD clearly states at the beginning of his podcasts that he is having a conversation with his guest...like Seinfeld in CCC.
Great podcast, look forward to each Monday when a new one is released.
Do you guys think it’s bad that I think Jim Day is an ass because of the time when I was 10 I saw him on the street while I was driving downtown towards RedsFest and said “HEY JIM DAY!” out the window like an excited child seeing a celebrity and he turns and in the meanest, smuggest manner says “sup...”

@JimDayTV I (hastily) did the research and every time a current player was on the podcast, either that night or their next appearance the Reds won and the player did pretty well. @locatejared @Amir_Garrett @Lorenzen55 @LilSenzii @kFarm17 @Reds

Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. -- Carl Sagan (Pale Blue Dot)
The Kyle Farmer podcast with Jim Day is 45 minutes of gold.

I like the Jim Day podcast series. It really fits JD and was a niche the Reds were missing. I also like some of the homegrown fan podcasts. Right now my fav is The Redsperts with Massie and Newman. Google it. Its pretty funny and laid back. The guys seem to know their stuff.

I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.
The new episode with Votto is hilarious.
