Your right. Those were spring numbers. Two HR in 9 and a third innings for the same 1.9 HR per nine as last year.
And it's not just better pitchers. It's been relatively cool so far and the balls fly farther in GABP when the weather heats up. Pittsburgh and Florida are weak line-ups. Pittsburgh has two or three guys and a bunch of bench player types (with a couple guys hurt on top of it) and Florida has a bunch of AAA players in there. Nine of the 12 games they've played have been against some pretty iffy line-ups in Pittsburgh and Miami.
