I'm going to the Coast tomorrow and soak this in along with food, sand and sun. Just wish the Spouse was going.

Best part was Dame waving goodbye to OKC after the shot

Difference between a PG who can shoot and one who can’t. If Russ is even average shooting the series is different. I still believe we can win with him, but it’s like the Bengals with Dalton that everything else needs to be perfect around him. Need another elite shooter and Roberson should help the defence even further next year.

He knew it was in when he let go of it. Best performance I've ever seen.

We, and nobody else in the NBA, solved the problem of a healthy George.

I want to be at a REDS' game sometime and feel like that.

By PG meant point guard. Saying that a fully healthy George might have been enough. Will have to wait till next season now.

I worded that awkwardly. I tried saying that Portland never solved Paul George when he was healthy and no other team did, either, this season.

How do you like that, texasdave?!

That was my exact viewpoint. Tremendous moment in sports. Had the same viewpoint when he did it to Houston.

    Unreal shot from Dame.

What does OKC do? Three years in a row of first round exits and no real obvious way to improve the team despite having two top 15 players.

Same thing Utah did after all those years of disappointments in the playoffs with Stockton and Malone? Stay the course and keep trying to upgrade the rest of the team (find their Hornacek).

Probably starts with trading Adams. Got a feeling they're going to get a new coach too.

It begins and ends with trading Westbrick.

    This.

As mentioned in this thread, the loss of Roberson was huge. It’s not out of the question for the following to occur:

    - Ferguson and Diablo - who has lottery-level talent as a ceiling - improve significantly.

    - Even though they pick 21st in this draft, they’re likely to find more cheap help. Not much difference in picking 11th or 21st this year.

    - A Tyreke Evans- level free agent is signed to a shorter, cap-friendly deal.

If I’ve learned anything, it’s not to count out Sam Presti. After all, who believed that Westbrook would not bolt after Durant fled for the Bay Area? And no, you don’t trade Westbrook without a godfather of a return.
Whatever you do, do your best to not allow the struggles of life to interfere with the pleasures of living.

Not a Blazers fan, but Dame played out of his mind this series. Congrats to Portland...and I guess to Kingspoint() as well!!!
