Not sure why Hughes is out there.

I’d have saved him for tomorrow.

Is Hernandez hurt, he’s not had much action lately.

You can't really pitch Hughes in close games either.

Nobody knows the answer, but I see no reason to be pessimistic. Senzel did hit 887 OPS before his injuries at AAA last year.
That was with an insanely high babip. If you look at his other numbers they are close to what Schebler did in the majors last year. Walk rate k rate.
Schebler 9.1 BB 23K .184 iso .301 babip in MLB last year
Senzel 9.8 BB 20.2 K .199 iso .367 babip in AAA so would expect the numbers to be less vs MLB pitching/defenses which puts him in Senzel territory at this point. I expect him to improve in a couple of years with Maturity and experience

Would be nice if Romano was pitching well in Louisville started off nice but he has had 3 rough outings in a row. Been a little rough for Reed too

I’m not convinced of that. Hughes was excellent last year. This year a slow start but it’s early.

They might try a bit more rest.

As a groundball pitcher rest is a bad thing usually.

Sorry, but the boneheaded decision of the game. There are two. Bases loaded with the pitcher up, and no pinch hitter. Then bringing Duke into the game. The result is the 11th loss. Might have lost anyway, but at least try to win. It's going to be a rocky ride.
