I’m driving down to SD to watch the last two games. I hope we see the good Reds for 2 more.

No room for Senzel though per the booth. This team is full up.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

We got some real issues with Bell managing our pitchers. Guys not available is going to be a commonplace thing around there if he doesn't figure out this managing thing. With his pulling of Lorenzen, it appears that his analytics says that you always pull your starter third time through the lineup. This is going to be very hard on a pitching staff and will lead to our not so good guys having to pitch in high leverage situations. A lot of bad consequences with that kind of managing

He pulled him because he was clearly struggling that last inning. You didn’t need analytics to see that. Sometimes you just won’t have guys available. They can’t pitch every game.

Yea, of all the moves Bell made last night I was the least concerned about pulling Disco after 6 innings.

Yea he had a pitch count around 80 but he was in no way, shape or form "cruising" by any stretch of the imagination. They were starting to hit balls hard off of him. You could tell he was running on fumes.

Good start from Disco. I didn't see the game and fell asleep with the radio on, so I have no idea if pulling him was right or wrong, but six full innings is better than 5 or even 5 and an out or two. The Reds have been burning too many arms with short outings IMO. Getting all the way through six with his line is wonderful. I'm a Disco skeptic, but that was a really good start IMO.

If it was 3 or 4-1 Reds winning maybe you let Disco stay in but at 1-1 and he is starting to wobble - pull him.

Some of us are old time night owls from back in the days when working the night shift was still enjoyable.. and bars weren't crowded at 7am after work....not that I ever got drunk after work except for the one time I almost burned the house down after falling asleep .... Oh skip it..Too embarrassing to recall in its entirety.. lol
