I am starting to get very confident when Castillo and Gray are on the mound......I mean like I expect to win those games even if we are not great on offense. I trust Roark to keep us in games as long as the offense provides some support.....and I am close to there with Mahle. If DeSclafani can have a couple more outings like his last one, I could get there with him also.

Really pleased with the starting pitching.

Get to 20-20 and the Division can be won.

Win tomorrow and that would give us a 5-4 record on the West Coast/Mexico road trip. I'd EASILY take that versus our performance on the West Coast in the past.

Always good when a 46 year old makes it to 2nd base

Cincy's 3.16 team ERA is 3rd best in all of MLB...if this is real, and not just some short-term fluke that melts away over time, we could finally have a winner to enjoy. I have no doubt the hitting will kick-in eventually.

    Re: Reds @ Padres 4-20-19

Reds relievers, who collectively have the majors’ fifth-lowest ERA, have held the Padres to seven hits and two runs in 11 2/3 innings over the past three games.

“It hasn’t been easy,” Machado said. “They’re not exactly throwing meat balls up there.”
