Fangraphs has him ranked as the #7 prospect in the MLB as of now, FWIW.
Where has Trammell been? Haven’t seen him in the lineup in a few games
Nice night for TT. 2-5 with a homer and a steal. OPS up to 717
Trammel due up in Futures game on MLB Network
Single and RBI. Also was safe on a steal home but with no replay was called out. Kid is exciting to watch.

Trammel stole home but a bad call by blind ump calls him out!!
Anybody know where to find a box score for the Futures game? Not having any luck.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

It sucks that the ump blew that call, but I credit MLB Network with a save, because they immediately dedicated the entire next half-inning interviewing Trammel in the dugout while completely ignoring the actual game.
As a Reds' fan, obviously, I think that's the greatest thing ever. But it doesn't take a whole lot of imagination for me to say that the kid was so damned charasmatic and likeable that he even won over the hearts and minds of other teams who might have had their own prospects on the field at the time, playing in same-said actual game.
Too bad about the steal. That would have probably secured him his second futures game MVP.

No doubt about it. Dents the plate with the first/go-ahead RBI, then scores the 3rd run of the game by stealing home? Huff's HR ceases to matter, baby!
Ump gets the call right, and that's 2 MVPs in a row for Trammel. I'm not saying I 100% agree with wanting Reds' players to peak as "Futures All-Stars," but it was kind of adorable that Trammel was openly pining for them to rename the award after him if he had won it a second time.
“Why he might fail section” from Baseball Prospectus midseason rankings update on TT (via Doug’s website, which will be linked below):
Slower Billy Hamilton? The “if” is doing a lot of heavy lifting above. Like Taveras, he’s never hit as much as you’d think given the swing you’ll see at 5:00 p.m. During our internal discussion of where to rank him he got comped to “slower Billy Hamilton.” So if you want a downside projection, there ya go.
Woof.
**BP moved TT to #30 on their list, looks like India will overtake him by the end of the season.
