They have to have more than one guy.

    The game has changed.

Looking a lot more forward to football season with what Stoops is doing. Cal does his thing and its all well and good, but we're not winning a title without guys sticking around more. This year with 4 key guys returning we have as good a chance as we do in awhile, but I'm done getting amped about it anymore.

Florida and Kentucky look to battle it out for Kerry Blackshear.

If we pull him, UF has a Final Four roster this year. Without him, or another suitable GT big, we've got to hope some young guys come along faster than expected.
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.

Brad Calipari has entered the transfer portal. Let the rumors flow about John leaving now.

Juzang will have to beat out Whitney and Brooks for small forward minutes and Maxey for SG time.

    That's unlikely.

This seemed like the reasonable decision all along (withdrawing from the draft) but everyone who spoke with any degree of knowledge on the situation said all indications pointed towards him remaining in the draft.

If we get him in Gainesville it'll be the most talented team we've had since 2007. Playing time availability should give us the upper hand on UK but you can't discount the added exposure he'd get by playing in Lexington. Hopefully playing close to home tips the scales in our favor.

Still, he has a different skill set than Whitney and Brooks. A lot of combinations for Cal to utilize.

Having them attend the combine before making the decision has turned into a reality check for a number of players.

Historically, teams that have so many options tend never to settle. They struggle to win championships.

And there is little chance Juzang plays meaningful minutes while one of Whitely/ Brooks sits. Even if he would be a better "fit". Calipari just can't quit in your face defense, long athletes, shot-blocking, and rebounding. He's become the oldest of old school coaches.

    Trolling?

    Really?

His son is a walk-on who earns a couple minutes per game. And that's how he was recruited.

One of the strangest things I have ever heard in my life. Cal, legendary coach, boy plays at UK. And he enters the portal? C'mon. Weird written all over it.

    No, it's not.

    Kid wants to play.

    He won't play at Kentucky.

That's really all there is to it.
